The dense shorn pile of this rug offers excellent pressure redistribution, making it an ideal choice for preventing and alleviating bed sores. The plush and cushioned surface gently cradles the body, reducing friction and minimizing the risk of skin breakdown.
With its ability to regulate body temperature, sheepskin provides exceptional breathability, ensuring a comfortable and cosy environment for patients and individuals in need of extended bed rest. The natural fibres of sheepskin also wick away moisture, keeping the skin dry and promoting better hygiene.

Sarah –
I have this medical sheepskin, it is probably a year old now and still looks new to be honest. I got it for my newborn and its been washed in the washing machine maybe 3 times since owning it and it still looks amazing. I brush the wool once its dry and it comes up lovely. Lambland gave me advice to dry it slowly over a couple of days and it dried perfectly, it is still really soft and supple. Worth every penny!
